Holiday Giveaway

Good Morning Campers,

I have a couple pieces of news to pass along to you.

First, I had my first podcast interview this past Monday. I sat down with the guys from Haven Podcasts and talked about my books, about science-fiction in general, and my writing process. The interview lasted about an hour and should be up on all podcast apps by the end of next week.

I’ll definitely keep you posted so you can make fun of my voice cracking. There’s a reason I write books instead of being a broadcast personality.

The second piece of news … I’m hosting my first giveaway.

Starting today and ending next Wednesday I’ll be having a little contest to build some traction on my website. Feel free to share with friends, family, frenemies, and people you want to torture with some great sci-fi adventures.

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to read Genesis yet, click the like button on this post. Next Wednesday I’ll have one of my kids pick a random name from that list and that lucky contestant will receive a free, signed copy of Genesis in their mailbox before Christmas.

For those of you who want to read Trinity leave a comment telling me your favorite character from Genesis with a sentence or two about why said character is your favorite. Winner gets a free book.

I’m trying to keep things simple. I don’t want essays.

Two winners, two books in the mail.

Sounds easy, right? Well, it is.

In sum, click the like button for Genesis and leave a comment for Trinity. As I said, go ahead and share this with as many people as you like. I mean, who doesn’t like free stuff right before the holidays?

On that note, keep on reading, keep on searching for the perfect gift, and keep on flying the Black.

I love how Atom’s tendency to defend and cover the vulnerable takes a leap in Trinity. With Margo, it’s easy to overlook shortfalls and character flaws but what if the one your defending turns out to be a pretty broken, and even deceptive, person? I appreciate the complexity of Lilly, and how we wrestle with how to love her!

I’m only a little ways into Genesis, but so far I would have to say Kozue…
A mother whose protection of her daughter transcends death. Now that’s a cool concept.
